  1. Absolutely love your errors and even if they looked “”misshapen ” I bet they tasted great. A very good way to learn. I topped a quiche at weekend with large rounds of smoked cheese…..big mistake as the slabs of cheese, although thin, seemed to stop the filling from rising properly (despite lots of eggs in the mix). ………also my sponges overflowed into peculiar shapes but I trimmed the edges and the bits will form a good base for trifle..
